Bridges (fixed partial dentures)
A fixed (permanent) bridge replaces one or more teeth by replacing crowns on the teeth on either side of the gap and adding artificial teeth to them. The ‘bridge’ is then cemented into place. A cantilevered bridge is used when there are teeth on only one side of the open space.

Implant dentistry is one of the most dynamic and rapidly developing areas within oral health care. It is an artificial root made of titanium metal. It is inserted into the jaw bone to replace the root of the natural tooth and an artificial replacement tooth is attached to the implant.
